Hey, I'm
Welcome to my world of photography and videography. Photography, for me, is about more than images - it's about capturing the story of that moment in time.
I began my journey in the wild spaces of Africa, documenting Big Five, rare birdlife, and fleeting moments that define life on safari. Over time, that same eye for detail and emotion expended into new spaces - lodges and hotels, weddings, portraits and bespoke photographic safaris.
Whether it is a leopard at sunrise, a couple exchanging vows beneath ancient baobabs, or the design of a luxury lodge blending seamlessly with the bush, my approach is the same: to create images and videos that feel alive, authentic, and timeless.
I work with individuals, families, brands, lodges and everything in-between who want their stories captured with artistry and intention. from intimate elopements to lodge marketing campaigns, or simply preserving your safari memories, I bring patience, presence, and a deep respect for all.

A little bit of background about me, my guiding journey started at a young age from the early years of my life going on birding rides with my Dad, and later this was cemented with a trip to one of the CC Africa (&Beyond) lodges when I was about 6 years old. I had always loved the bush as it was often our holiday growing up, but this trip really created the dream of being able to guide people through these magical places. After school I went on to study Environmental Science and Botany, completing my Honors in Botany. Finishing with two projects one focusing on the Pollination Biology of Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise) and the other on Aquaculture of Gracilaria for the treatment of effluent and its ideal stocking levels.
After University I went on to become an ecologist in the Environmental Compliance domain, focusing on the all the ecological aspects that could be impacted through developments such as mining, housing, etc. This however didn't scratch the itch of the bush and sharing its beauty. Ultimately this lead me to dive in and do the Guide training course with Bushveld Training Adventures, followed quickly by my backup trails guiding course with Lowveld Trails. This all lead me back to the place where my dream was born at &Beyond where I completed the Inkwazi Rangers course. After the course I was placed at Phinda Private Game Reserve, in the Northern KZN where I fell more in love with the bush and the stories it holds within. As I grew as a guide I pushed myself into the training and ultimately Assistant Head Guide before I decided to explore the Sabi Sands when a position opened up at Kirkman's Kamp and Tengilie.
After a couple of years here and meeting my amazing wife we decided to take up another opportunity in that of content creation for Zuka Private Game Reserve and managing a private lodge within called Nkonka. Here I had the opportunity to dive deeper into my love for photography and videography. Here I had the opportunity to explore and dive deeper into my photography and videography, creating images and videos to help in building the Zuka brand.
After two years an opportunity opened up for Ashleigh and I to manage a five star lodge in the Northern Kruger National Park, this being The Outpost & Pel's Post. The Pafuri region is one of the most diverse and beautiful places in the Kruger National Park with, magical floodplain forests, deep gorges and diverse birds and plant life. In managing I have learnt a lot about coordinating and ensuring everything runs at the highest possible standard. It also gave me the odd opportunity to capture some extra special moments, from elopements, engagements and weddings set in the beautiful fever tree forest or under ancient baobabs.
Through all these wonderful opportunities my love for the bush, photography and videography has only grown. I would love to share my passion for these with you in creating those memories, moments and experiences. From individual photoshoots to fully planed trips across the beautiful natural landscapes we have to offer.
